Visitors to the province of British Columbia tend to visit three nearby locales during their stays --- Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria.  Victoria is sometimes described as more English than England.  The Slide Farmer regards Victoria as the ‘back forty’, a favoured city for photography and a natural outdoor studio.  Victoria will accommodate a surge of tourism in February 2010 during the Winter Olympics as visitors flock to it’s natural charms and beauty.
